Trump Can’t be Impeached for Alleged Crimes Committed before he became President

by James Buchanan

The liberal media continues its efforts to try to demoralize Trump supporters with new claims that Trump will soon be impeached. Never mind the fact that Obama was (illegally) spying on Trump during the presidential campaign, abusing the FISA court system followed by the 15 month long witch hunt by Mueller which has failed to produce anything that will stick to Trump.

In an interview with Sean Hannity, legal expert Mark Levin noted that you can’t impeach a president for things that happened before he became president as noted here:

All the Stormy Daniels/Michael Cohen business predates Trump becoming president, not to mention the fact that Trump was using his own money to pay Stormy to shut up, which apparently she can’t do.

Stormy originally claimed to have an affair with Trump and sold her story to a magazine back in 2006. William Cohen probably decided to pay her to sign a non-disclosure agreement to avoid embarrassment regardless of whether the story was true or not.

Ann Coulter has repeatedly said she doesn’t believe the Stormy Daniels’ story (which reads like a cheap, poorly written porn screenplay) because for one thing Trump is a germophobe, who would not want to shake Stormy’s hand, let alone the rest of her.

The liberal media must have forgotten about all the women Bill Clinton, John Edwards and other Democrats had to pay off over the years. There was some legal controversy over a donor for Edwards paying off Rielle Hunter because that could be interpreted as an unreported campaign donation. Eventually, no one went to jail in the Edwards-mistress case even though that was arguably a real violation of campaign finance law.

Shortly after the 2008 election, it was discovered that Obama had failed to disclose about 1,000 donations, and the DNC paid a $375k fine. If this had not been the first Black president, there probably would have been serious criminal charges in that case.

So not only is the liberal media trying to invent a crime where no such crime exists, they are displaying their usual incredible hypocrisy, ignoring the fact that 1,000 unreported donations for Obama was a “minor thing, certainly not worthy of Impeachment” while an alleged infraction by Trump’s lawyer before he was president is supposedly grounds to remove Trump from office.

The liberal media is going to keep inventing Impeachment stories every one or two weeks while Trump is president because they are liars and/or deranged lunatics, who are feeding false hope to millions of Democrats with Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Even if the worst Democrat fantasies about what Trump may have done prior to Jan. 20th, 2017 were true, they don’t matter.
