An ABC news article reports “Sen. John McCain, who was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer last year, has decided to discontinue treatment, his family said in a statement Friday.”
“Last summer McCain said he had been diagnosed with an aggressive glioblastoma, ‘and the prognosis was serious,’ his family said in a statement.”
“‘In the year since, John has surpassed expectations for his survival. But the progress of disease and the inexorable advance of age render their verdict,’ the McCain family said. ‘With his usual strength of will, he has now chosen to discontinue medical treatment…'”
Don’t hold your breath if you had any hope that McCain might repent decades of selling out Americans to the Globalists or the Amnesty lobby. Or his singing “Bomb, bomb, bomb… Bomb, bomb Iran” as if another pointless war in the Middle East is something to make light of.
Instead, McCain is doing what most politicians do, he’s trying to justify his disgraceful career as a System politician.
And don’t expect any reporters to ask him a question about his frequent duplicity like “How could you promise to ‘build the dang fence’ in 2010 and then sponsor a second Amnesty Bill in 2013?”
An NBC news article reports “People close to Sen. John McCain have told the White House that the ailing Arizona Republican does not want President Donald Trump to attend his funeral and would like Vice President Mike Pence to come instead, a source close to McCain confirmed to NBC News. McCain, 81, has been battling an aggressive form of brain cancer for nearly a year and is back home in Arizona after he underwent surgery last month for an intestinal infection.”
Trump probably wasn’t planning on attending McCain’s funeral, but McCain thinks he can take one more cheap shot at the first competent and patriotic president that America has had in decades. Trump is everything that McCain pretends to be, a patriot and a real maverick. McCain had to sell his soul to special interests to become a Senator and he resents anyone who didn’t make the same deal with the devil that he did.
