A CBS news article reports: “Police in Aurora are investigating a sexual assault that may have been a racially-motivated crime. Investigators say a woman was attacked Friday morning at the Mission Viejo Plaza Shopping Center near Hampden Avenue and Chambers Road.”
“’Yeah it’s really scary,’ Aurora resident Claire Miller said. Miller is frightened and angry after the violent attack on a 23-year-old woman. ‘You feel less safe. You feel worried for your family. I have daughters that are 18 and 21, so same for them. It makes us all feel vulnerable,’ Miller told CBS4’s Tom Mustin.”
“[T]wo African-American men sexually assaulted the woman outside the shopping center. Police say the victim, who is white, didn’t know the attackers. During the assault, the men yelled racial slurs at the woman before fleeing the scene.”
Okay, hold it. Stop the tape!
Did I read this right? A mainstream media outlet like CBS is not only identifying the race of the attackers but the race of the victim as well, and admitting that (anti-White) racial slurs were used. Incredible!
Maybe the CBS affiliates in states like Colorado are not as militantly liberal as in California and New York. Or maybe they’ve gotten tired of covering up all the pertinent facts of a news story.
As recently as a few months ago, I don’t believe this would have been reported this accurately.
Ordinary Americans have become very racially aware in recent years and will call out liberal media outlets for censoring the truth. Most rapes in the US are committed by Blacks or Latinos. Based on the neighborhood, most people can guess if it’s a Black rapist and a White victim.
Have you ever read the comments following one of these articles? If it’s an obvious Black-on-White crime, people won’t hesitate to point that out. They will also ask why the perp hasn’t been identified racially. In fact not identifying the perp is seen by many as proof that the perp is non-White and the liberal media is censoring the news again.
Perhaps this awakening of the American public combined with the election of Trump has convinced some news outlets that the jig is up. They might as well tell the truth or people will rip them apart in the comment section, and then if they close down the comment section, they’ll get an even worse reputation for censorship.
