The liberals are doing what they always do when they lose: They’re trying to delegitimize their opponent’s victory. In this case, they’re running around proclaiming that they won the “popular vote” and therefore their candidate should be president, spectacularly failing to remember that there were these things called “rules” that existed before the election which both candidates agreed to. After you lose all your money in a poker game, you can’t change the rules so that your pair of twos beats four kings.
Donald Trump brilliantly organized his campaign to go after enough states to win at least 270 electoral votes. Trump wound up winning 306 electoral votes, which can be seen as winning the race with four average states to spare. This was an extremely solid electoral college victory. There is even evidence that the Democrats may have stolen five states from Trump as mentioned in this youtube video:
If it had been a requirement to win the popular vote as well as the electoral college, Trump could have done that merely by reaching deeper into his pocket and running some political ads in California and New York. As it turned out, Trump made almost no effort in California because everyone knew it would go for the Democrat, and spending money on ads would have been a waste of Trump’s money.
The RNC by the way was refusing to give Trump any money for his campaign. A Politico article reports “The Republican National Committee insists that it’s doing everything in its power to elect Donald Trump, but as Trump gets clobbered on the TV airwaves by his well-funded Democratic rival, the RNC has been conspicuously absent.”
“A POLITICO analysis of campaign finance records reveals that the committee has not spent anything on commercials boosting Trump since he emerged as the party’s likely nominee.”
“That’s a stark departure from recent elections. In 2008 and 2012, the RNC spent tens of millions of dollars on so-called independent expenditures — principally TV ads, but also direct mail and phone banks — supporting its nominees or attacking their Democratic rivals.”
“The lack of air cover has prompted grumbling from Trump aides and allies, many of whom believe that the RNC was never fully supportive of their candidate and that it’s now turning its back completely on the anti-establishment nominee…”
So Trump had to rely on direct donations to his campaign and his own resources while the System Republicans did their best to undermine him and starve him from assistance that donors thought would go to him.
If Trump had gotten an extra 50 to 100 million dollars or more in RNC money, that definitely would have boosted his popular vote total considerably.
And then there’s the elephant in the living room that the liberal media will never mention: Namely the fact that the 2016 election was rife with voter fraud, including 20 million illegal alien votes, a million or two dead Democrat voters, inner city Democrats showing up at different precincts voting multiple times and electronic vote fraud, spotted first in Texas with voting machines flipping votes from Trump to Hillary.
To get an idea of how massive the illegal alien problem is consider that the British Daily Mail reported “U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services plans to seek a vendor to produce as many as 34 million blank work permits and ‘green cards’ – the paperwork that authorizes immigrants to live and work in the United States…”
There’s only one reason to print up 34 million work permits and green cards. It’s because our government knows that there are 34 million illegal aliens in the U.S. right now. The Democrat Party has been doing everything it can to allow people to vote without showing a photo ID, which basically means that the Democrats are enabling illegal aliens to vote (not to mention enabling inner city Blacks to vote multiple times).
As if all that isn’t bad enough, an article from the Political Insider reports “If you are one of these supporters of President Obama who likes to turn a blind eye to the rampant lawlessness under his administration, this video has to make even you do a double take.”
“When it first came to light, we thought it would be a situation where someone was exaggerating his comments a bit. We were wrong.”
“President Obama is asked a question about illegal immigrants voting in the election, and rather than say that only citizens of our nation can vote, he actually encouraged them to do so. The President then went so far as to explain why it would be okay to do so – because the illegal immigrants will be able to get away with it!”
I may be underestimating the illegal alien vote by estimating it at only 20 million. If someone is going to violate immigration law and possibly commit identity fraud to get a job, why would they not commit vote fraud too if it might make a difference in whether or not they get deported? Of course millions of illegals just voted in the 2016 election!!
Hillary Clinton did not win the popular vote. She lost it by a landslide if you count only legal U.S. citizens.
