In an attempt to defend Hillary Clinton from the infamous Juanita Broaddrick rape accusation against Bill Clinton, an anchor at NBC, Andrea Mitchell may have just made a blunder that will open up NBC to a slander lawsuit by Ms. Broaddrick.
A WorldNetDaily article reports “First, GOP presumptive presidential candidate Donald Trump ripped away the ‘philandering husband’ façade from Bill Clinton, publicly charging on Fox News’ ‘Hannity’ on Wednesday that the former president committed ‘rape.’”
“Then, on the same day, the victim, Juanita Broaddrick, described for the first time – in a WND exclusive sit-down interview conducted in Broaddrick’s Arkansas home – exactly how the alleged 1978 sexual assault had deeply and permanently scarred her life throughout the intervening decades. And Broaddrick mentioned something else: Of all mainstream journalists, the one she spoke to recently on the phone, seeking an update from Broaddrick on the rape incident and its aftermath, was NBC’s Andrea Mitchell.”
“How ironic, then, when Thursday, Mitchell said on-air that Broaddrick’s rape allegation, first televised by her own network in a sensational ‘Dateline’ segment in 1999, had been ‘discredited.’”
“’Lisa Myers actually warned me about Andrea,’ Broaddrick told WND today, responding to Mitchell’s comment essentially calling her a liar.”
Juanita Broaddrick met Bill Clinton when he was Attorney General of the state of Arizona, running for governor. Ms. Broaddrick wanted to help the “Clinton for Governor” campaign and foolishly agreed to meet him at a motel room where she was staying for a nurse’s convention. Broaddrick was then raped by Clinton in that room. She told several friends that she had been raped but because Clinton was Attorney General and because she agreed to meet him in her motel room, she felt she had little chance of prosecuting him for rape. Details of the assault can be found here.
It’s more than a little ironic that when feminists like Hillary talk about powerful men intimidating women into not filing rape charges, that her husband, the life-long Democrat would be guilty of this.
Liberals, like NBC news anchor Andrea Mitchell may WISH that the Juanita Broaddrick rape charge was “discredited,” but it never was discredited. In fact, a few experts in criminal investigations have remarked that the “lip-biting” technique that Bill Clinton reportedly used was what they would expect from an experienced serial rapist.
By stating her opinion or wish as fact on the air, Andrea Mitchell has opened herself up to a slander lawsuit.
The Juanita Broaddrick story was mentioned recently by Donald Trump. A recent Sean Hannity show has also thrown a spotlight on this, and the best the liberals can do is lie about the incident and claim that it never happened. Well, that sort of dishonesty could easily backfire on them and lead to a civil lawsuit that proves in court that Juanita Broaddrick was raped by Bill Clinton.
