Donald Trump has scored 42 percent of the vote among Republicans likely to vote in the 2016 Republican primary. If you listened to only the mainstream media, you might have the illusion that Ben Carson was leading the polls, but Trump has been ahead in all but a few dubious polls (e.g. CNBC and The New York Times) that had Carson ahead.
When the candidates were lined up for the fourth debate, Donald Trump took the center stage podium as the front runner because he had the highest average in the previous week’s polls, but you’d never know this from listening to the liberal media, which couldn’t cackle enough about Carson.
Ben Carson has run into considerable trouble in recent weeks with his bizarre remark that the pyramids were used to store grain, and questions arising about some of the stories, he’s told, about trying to stab a friend and allegedly hitting his mother in the head with a hammer. Ironically, it’s not the violence of those stories for many people (Do people just expect violence by Blacks?) but whether those two incidents actually happened.
A recent news article reports “After a week in which he hosted Saturday Night Live and stood center-stage at a Republican debate, Donald Trump is surging among Republicans likely to cast votes in the party’s presidential primary.”
“According to the five-day rolling Reuters/Ipsos presidential poll, Trump has leapt some 17 percentage points among likely Republican voters since Nov. 6, when he was essentially tied with Ben Carson at about 25 percent. Trump now captures 42 percent of those voters while Carson has fallen off slightly.”
“Among all Republicans – not simply likely primary voters -Trump holds a substantial edge over Carson, at 34 percent to about 20 percent, according to the Reuters/Ipsos poll.”
Support for Trump’s plan to restrict immigration and to control the border will likely increase after the horrible massacre in Paris, in which Muslim terrorists, including at least one phony refugee murdered 129 people in Paris.
An article in the UK Daily Mail notes “President Barack Obama said that ISIS was ‘contained’ just a day before the terrorist group claimed responsibility for a horrific attack in Paris that killed 128 people on Friday.”
“In an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos that aired on Friday’s broadcast of Good Morning Americ”a, Obama declared that he didn’t believe ISIS (also known as ISIL) was gaining strength.”
“‘What is true is that from the start, our goal has been first to contain and we have contained them,’ Obama said in the interview. ‘They have not gained ground in Iraq, and in Syria they’ll come in, they’ll leave, but you don’t see this systemic march by ISIL across the terrain.'”
Do Americans want a blithering liberal idiot like Obama or Hillary in charge as the threat from Third World terrorists increases? Or do they want a strong leader who will restore some sanity to controlling the border?
